Standard Reports > Behaviour

On the Behaviour page you will find 3 charts that look at guest loyalty, repeat visit numbers and dwell time and could be used as indicators for successful marketing campaigns as all 3 charts look at the data split between Opted-in users vs Not Opted-in users:

  • Opted-in users are Wi-Fi users that have opted- in to marketing when logging into the Wi-fi. This is only looking at data from Wi-Fi logins, as we do not have access to users who have opted-in or out using your CRM platform.

  • Opted out users - Wi-Fi uses who have chosen not to opt-in to marketing when logging into the Wi-Fi

Average Visits per User

The Average Visits per User chart is calculated using Wi-Fi login data to see how many times guests repeated in a 3 month rolling period. For example, if you want to see how successful a campaign you ran in April was, you will need to look at the month of July for the relevant numbers. Insights will then look 3 months back to all guests that visited in April and see how many times they visited on average over May, June and July. (More info on measurements below)

 % of Visitors Returning

The % of Visitors Returning chart will show what percentage of the users that logged in to WiFi 3 months earlier, logged in at least one more time in the following 3 months. This report could be a good indicator of how successful a marketing campaign was to increase repeat visits for opted-in users.

Average Dwell Time

The average number of minutes that users who have logged into Wi-Fi (either on this visit or on a previous visit) remained in range of the presence sensor (only counting users seen for >10 mins). This chart uses presence data to look at dwell time but we are only using it on users who have logged into the Wi-Fi.

PLEASE NOTE:

- The Average Visits per User and % of visitors returning charts are calculated using a pre-set rolling window of 3 months to look at and measure the number of repeat visits.

- The 3 month window has no effect on the date range or frequency selected using the filter at the top of the page.

- We would recommend using the Monthly split when looking at the Average Visits per User & % of Visitors Returning charts.
